My First Jet Review!

This was another one of those fun overnight trips to Florida, but this time I was filming a new jet! The great folks at AIN, who I went to Las Vegas with last Fall, asked if I would join their Editor-in-Chief to film - let’s go!

Little did I know this would be one of my last travel trips of 2020, so it was nice to go some place warm.

Landing in Orlando, then driving to Melbourne to Embraer’s US operations at the Melbourne Airport. Filming a jet is a lot like filming a car…just a tad bigger! The facility and people were so friendly and helpful, they kept us well fed and hydrated.

Matt from AIN got a big briefing from the Embraer folks about the new jet, while I filmed a lot of b-roll outside. It is such a beautiful machine…and if you have about 11 million you can have one too!

Now it is easier with cars to be in the car when the talent is reviewing it, but not the case here. Matt with AIN was set to fly the plane with two pilots from Embraer, but I was not going, so I had to mount a few GoPros’s and hope for the best. I would film them as they take off, do some maneuvers near us, and finally land.

This was a fun day, and it was very fun to edit this one too! Enjoy!
