Wagon Of My Dreams

V90_Profile_Mountains_Barn.jpg

Last month, I secured and enjoyed my first press car!  Huge thanks to Volvo for allowing me to have one of their V90 Cross Country wagons for a week.  I put over 1,000 miles on it, with an epic (and very quick!) trip to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. A fantastic early birthday present!

I’ve always wanted to do a trip up there with a car, and finally Volvo had the perfect car for the job.  This V90 Cross Country is a bit different from the regular V90…it is lifted several more inches to allow it to go off-road and be (in my opinion) the best all around wagon on the market today.

We left Saturday afternoon, stopping in Portsmouth for the evening, and setting out on Sunday for a quick (24 hour) trip deep into Maine.  Being a lifted Volvo, this thing is the ‘Cadillac of Sweden’ - meaning simply:  the ride on this car is incredibly smooth, and perfect for this long haul!  I opted for the scenic Route 1 up the coast, through charming towns, and into the Island of Bar Harbor and Acadia.

This was a fast trip up to Acadia, but oh so worth it, and now I’ll let the photos do the talking, and my review!  Enjoy!

P.S. This review received a Bronze Telly Award in May of 2020 - pretty darn awesome…I’m humbled to be honored.
